About Me

The path that got me to where I am now is unique. My career path is similar to driving RT 66. Not the most direct route, lots of stops along the way, but probably way more fun than taking the express route. I started as an Auto Technician getting my training through my high school VO-ED program and completing that in 1996. I continued as an Auto Technician for many years and attained multiple certifications. I took a break (short) from cars and attended the Ohio Center for Broadcasting in 2008/09. I learned how to film, edit, and direct on-air programming during that time. But 2009 was a tough time economically and finding a local full-time Broadcasting gig wasn’t in the cards. Instead of going back to work as an Auto technician, I was offered a job teaching Automotive at Ohio Technical College. During my years of teaching, I attained “Master of Adult Training Education” through the Association of Talent and Development. Fast forward a couple more years and I was given an opportunity to develop content for print media and produce videos for the automotive aftermarket. It wasn’t long before I was in front of the camera providing training videos, product reviews, and long-form content. In 2022 I was nominated by the Great Lakes Chapter of the Emmys for best host/narrator for my show Road to AApex. I didn’t win, but I’ll keep trying! Currently, I’m wrapping up filming Road to AApex season 2. I’m also writing content for multiple automotive magazines and producing scripts for video content. Got an idea? Looking to collaborate? Currently, I live about 30 miles south of London, UK but I return to the US very frequently as needed. Reach out to me anytime!
